Tropical rainfall slowly increasing while temperatures will be slowly decreasing

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — With upper level high pressure removed from South Texas the tropics are open for business and that means there is at least some rain in the forecast.

As a weak wave approaches the northern coast of Mexico, our tropical showers will become a little more consistent beginning Monday of next week.

Tonight will be nearly calm and quiet, warm and sticky with a low of 76.

Friday will be mostly sunny with only isolated showers, generally light winds and more baking heat with a high of 97.

Friday night expect a tranquil night with mainly clear skies and a low of 76.

Saturday expect isolated to scattered showers moving inland on a weak sea breeze during the afternoon. It won't be quite as hot with a high of 93.
