CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A weak mid-level disturbance in the west central Gulf is headed toward the middle Texas coast and will result in an increase in our shower activity through Friday.

Temperatures won't be quite as hot due to increased cloud cover. The first cold front of the season will arrive on Monday with very little rain but noticeably lower humidity and low temperatures that drop into the 60's for much of the area!

Tonight expect fair skies with coastal showers developing after midnight and a low of 74.

Thursday expect a mix of clouds and sunshine not quite as hot with a high of 91 in and around scattered tropical showers.

Thursday night we will have coastal showers late again otherwise fairly quiet with a low of 73.

Friday features scattered thundershowers very light winds and a high near 90 under mostly cloudy skies. It dries out for the weekend with lots of sunshine.
