A moderately strong cold front tonight will generate a few showers over mainly the northern half of the Coastal Bend with severe weather much further north and east and out of the area.
Much cooler and less humid air will arrive behind the front and bring great weekend weather once the winds subside.

Saturday night will be clear nearly calm and cold with a low of 43.Sunday will be beautiful with sunny skies until late afternoon when clouds return light winds and pleasantly mild with a high of 71.
Clouds return on Monday and for much of the week.
