CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Leftover storms will affect deep South Texas today.

Areas south of Falfurias saw heavy rain overnight. Overall, we will be seeing fewer showers and more sunshine as we move into the weekend.

The pesky low over North Texas is moving away. Higher pressures will develop over the state pushing our temperatures into the low 90's over the weekend with hotter temperatures inland.

Today: Partly cloudy with isolated storms south. High 89.

Saturday: Partly cloudy and warm. High 89.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and warmer. High 91.

Monday: Mostly sunny and warmer. High 92.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy and warm. Nigh 92.
