Crews continue to assess the damage and clean up the mess. The Rio Grande Valley got an estimated 6 to 12 inches of rain.
In Cameron County, a tornado touched ground last night in Brownsville, an EF-0 was reported completely tearing off the roofs of homes and knocking over trees.
The storm also knocked down power lines in the area, causing power outages.
Crews are working to clean up the mess after the storm, but more incoming rain could potentially slow down the process.
The Rio Grande Valley feeling stronger impacts of Hanna as she moved farther south of us. In Edinburg, a funeral home lost part of its roof.
Parts of the roof were scattered around the building.
There was no word if anyone was inside at the time.
