Upper level low pressure in north central Texas will continue to pump some tropical moisture into the area with the majority of it and the rain it produces staying offshore and not actually occurring in the Coastal Bend.

As the low lift out of the region on Wednesday, our winds will increase and end our marginal rainfall opportunity.

Tonight will be tranquil early then isolated showers developing near the coast after midnight.

On Wednesday, expect variable cloudiness hot and humid in and around scattered thundershowers that will work inland away from the coast and the city during the afternoon. The high will be 91.

Wednesday night will be rather breezy warm and stuffy with fair skies and a low of 79.

And on Thursday the 4th, we will have more sunshine with windy hot and humid conditions with a high of 94 and a heat index of 108.
