CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Little change in our sweltering heat and dry windy conditions courtesy of upper level high pressure centered over Texas.
Once the high moves into the central Rockies we will get more of a northerly flow aloft and this will send a cold front into Texas that stalls to our north.
This will produce some badly needed rain for the area the middle of next week.
Tonight will be mainly clear still warm and stuffy with a gentle breeze and a low of 79.
Friday expect mostly sunny skies still windy hot and dry with a high of 95. Friday night will be mostly clear with a stuffy low of 78.
Saturday expect a little less wind but still breezy and a little hotter with a high of 97.
The heat index will top out between 106 and 112.
Stay cool.
