CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Upper level high pressure will back away from the area producing an opportunity for rain mainly Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
This weekend, however, will be hot and dry.
Saturday and Sunday will be sunny and baking hot and breezy and dry with a high tomorrow of 95 and 96 on Sunday.
The heat index will top out between 105 and 110 each afternoon.
Saturday night will be mainly clear with light winds after midnight and a low of 77.
The tropics are quiet unlike a week ago.
