CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A ridge of high pressure will dominate our weather most of the weekend. As the upper high moves east our winds and humidity will increase making Saturday the best day of the weekend. A moderate cold front arrives next Monday afternoon and is preceded by thundershowers that are badly needed in the area.

Tonight will be gorgeous with clear skies but not as cool with a low of 69.

Saturday expect sunshine and heat with only a light breeze and a hotter high of 92.

Saturday night will be a little breezy warm and sticky with a low of 76 under mostly cloudy skies.

Sunday expect more clouds and wind and humidity and very warm with a high of 89. There will also be a few stray inland showers.

Monday will be unsettled with the afternoon cold front.
