Hazy hot and humid for the rest of this week

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Upper level high pressure will eventually move east of the area resulting in a more unstable atmosphere that will be conducive to additional rainfall that could be locally heavy starting this weekend and lasting off and on through next week.

Tonight we will mostly cloudy breezy sticky and warm with a low of 76.

Thursday expect variable sunshine with hazy skies breezy hot and humid with a high of 91 and a heat index of around 107.

Thursday night will be mostly cloudy still breezy very warm and stuffy with a low of 77.

Friday we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine still stifling heat with a high of 92 and a heat index between 105 and 110.

our water pattern starts to change on Saturday with isolated showers and less wind and Sunday rain looks likely in the area.
