CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The dog days of summer continue with little change to our dangerously high heat and serious lack of rainfall through the weekend and nearly all of next week. We have upper level high pressure to thank for the relentless heat and drought that has taken up residence over the Lone Star State.
Tonight expect mostly clear skies a light breeze warm and stuffy with a low of 78.
Saturday will be sunny and scorching hot again as it becomes windy during the afternoon with a high of 98.
Saturday night we will have fair skies breezy stuffy and warmer with a low near 80.
Sunday windy dry and baking hot with a high of 99. The heat index will top out near 115 each afternoon.
