CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — We'll have two more very warm days before a cold front sends cooler air into south Texas to end the workweek. Friday will be much cooler, staying in the 70s with a chance of light showers and breezy northerly winds. The cool air won't stick around long though as temperatures will be back into the upper 80s by Sunday.

Low clouds and fog today will burn off to mostly sunny skies with a very warm, dry afternoon. High temperatures will reach 91 in Corpus Christi with southeast winds increasing to 15 mph.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and hot with a high of 92. A cold front moving in overnight will increase clouds and bring a chance of light showers after midnight.

Friday looks breezy, mostly cloudy, and much cooler with a high of 76 and northeast winds at 15-25 mph. Isolated light showers are possible through the day with persistent clouds.

For the weekend, clouds will clear early Saturday with a high of 81, climbing to 87 Sunday under mostly sunny skies.
