CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Delta will become a major hurricane in the central Gulf later this week but is not a direct threat to this area as it eventually moves northward toward the north central Gulf coast Friday.
We will be on the far western side of the system with mainly northerly winds this week.
Tonight will be clear, calm and almost cool with a low of 64.
Tuesday will be another nice early Fall day with sunny skies, very light winds again, dry and very warm with a high of 89.
Tuesday night will be tranquil with a cool low of 62.
And on Wednesday, expect generally light winds, sunny skies, dry and hot with a high near 90.
