CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some much cooler temperatures this morning after a cold front rolled through the area yesterday. We are also watching a few showers moving into the Coastal Bend. This trend will continue throughout the day. The forecast for this afternoon calls for cloudy and breezy weather conditions with a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms. Expect an afternoon high around 65 degrees with winds blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. This evening we can expect more clouds with showers possible. Look for an overnight low around 63 degrees. Temperatures will warm back up into the lower 80's on Sunday. A few isolated showers will still be in the forecast.
We will see mostly sunny skies and breezy weather conditions for much of next week. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 80's with overnight lows in the upper 60's. Another cold front will be possible on Friday. This could bring us a few showers and a bit cooler temperatures for the start to next weekend.
