CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — With upper-level high pressure centered well to our west, our surface winds are resulting in a more tropical weather pattern for South Texas.
This means we will see some more-needed rainfall over the next week outside of this Sunday.
Dorian is a serious and dangerous hurricane for the Bahamas and Florida, but is no threat here.
Tonight we will have coastal showers develop after midnight, with a low of 76.
Saturday expect scattered showers near the coast in the morning gradually working inland during the afternoon with generally light winds; still hot and humid outside of the rainy areas, with a high of 95.
Saturday night will be tranquil with clear skies, and a low of 75.
Sunday, expect sunny skies, light winds dry and blazing hot again with a high of 97.
