Barry near Louisiana coast with high heat here

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Barry is close to becoming a minimal hurricane and will make landfall near Morgan City Louisiana Saturday morning. The storm will cause increasing swells which will produce higher than normal tides on area beaches which will in turn cause a high rip current risk.

Flooding rains of 10-20 inches can be expected in Louisiana to the right of the center of circulation.Tonight will be mainly clear tranquil and seasonal with a low of 75.

Saturday expect variable sunshine again very light winds and record heat with a high of 100. Saturday night will be mostly clear and quiet with a low of 76.

Sunday only an isolated shower otherwise considerable sunshine a little more breezy by afternoon and a high of 97.
