CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — It will be hot and humid again Monday with a high of 95 under mostly sunny skies.
It will be a bit breezy Monday afternoon with southeast winds at 10-20 mph and the heat index will reach up to 109.
We will be in this summer-like pattern for much of the week ahead with daytime highs continuing in the low to mid-90s and overnight lows in the upper 70s with a stray shower chance each afternoon with heat index values of 105 to 109 degrees.
The ridge of high pressure aloft will back off to the west as we head into the weekend and with increasing moisture, we'll have a better chance of rain by Sunday. For now, it looks mainly dry for much of the workweek.
