CAMERON COUNTIES, NOT INCLUDING THE BARRIER ISLANDS...
The National Weather Service in Brownsville has issued a Red Flag
Warning for breezy to strong winds and low relative humidity,
which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 7 PM CDT Monday. The
Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* WINDS...Northerly at 20 to 30 mph, gusting as high as 35 to 45
mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10-40 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
