A quiet but very warm weekend ahead

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Temperatures will climb back up and approach above normal levels as upper level high pressure moves back over the area.

No major weather systems are expected to affect this area for the weekend and into early next week.

Beyond that, tropical activity to our east and south in the Gulf will increase the humidity but not much at all in the way of rainfall over the next week.

Tonight will be clear and cool but milder than the last several nights with a low of 64.

Saturday expect a very warm but beautiful early Fall day with sunny skies, generally light winds and a high of 88.

Saturday night will be clear, calm and cool overall and rather tranquil with a low of 63.

Sunday will feature light winds, sunny, dry and hotter with a high of 91.
