CORPUS CHRISTI —We are starting our Sunday morning with some much milder temperatures here in the Coastal Bend. Most of us are waking up to temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. This is about 15 to 25 degrees warmer than yesterday morning. It should also be a rather pleasant afternoon to be outdoors. Look for a mixtures of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high of 70 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. A weak cold front will roll through the area during the overnight hours. A few showers will be possible with the frontal passage. Expect an overnight low temeperature around 48 degrees. It should be a rather tranquil week ahead for our weather. Daytime highs temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s. There is a chance for a few more showers early Thursday morning when another weak cold front arrives. This will cool us down a bit for the latter half of the workweek.
