CORPUS CHRISTI — It's going to be another very hot day here in the Coastal Bend. We are looking for a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high of 98 degrees. We can not rule out a stray shower. However, most of the rain will stay to our north and out in the Gulf. It will also be a little breezy. The winds will be blowing out of the southwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. We have primarily been on the hot and dry side of Tropical Storm Barry. Our daytime high on Saturday was 103 degrees. We will start to see some minor impacts from the storm today out near the beaches. We will see increased surf and a moderate risk of rip currents.
We will be stuck in a hot and dry weather pattern for much of the week ahead. Our daytime highs will be in the mid 90's with overnight low temperatures in the upper 70's.
