CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to some rather chilly temperatures across the Coastal Bend this morning. Many areas are in the upper 30's to lower 40's. This will give way to abundant sunshine and a little warmer temperatures this afternoon. The forecast for today calls for light winds with a daytime high around 68 degrees. It will be a little milder this evening. Look for an overnight low around 54 degrees.We will see a few more clouds on Sunday with an afternoon high around 73 degrees.
We will be in a rather quiet weather pattern for much of the workweek ahead. Look for mostly sunny skies and warming temperatures. Temperatures will be in the lower 80's Tuesday and Wednesday. The winds will also pick up a bit midweek. The next cold front will likely arrive on Friday.
