CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to mostly cloudy skies and mild temperatures here in the Coastal Bend. A cold front rolling through the area will bring us some rather windy conditions later this morning. A small craft advisory has been issued starting at 10 am. The forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies this morning with some clearing late in the day. Expect a daytime high of 72 degrees. Winds will be blowing out of the northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect clear skies and some rather cool temperatures look for an overnight low around 43 degrees.
High pressure will bring us abundant sunshine on Monday and Tuesday. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 60's. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the mid 40's. There is a slight chance for a shower on New Year's Eve. Expect more widespread showers on Wednesday and Thursday. Sunny and dry weather conditions will return late in the week.
