CORPUS CHRISTI — We are waking up to a little cooler temperatures across the Coastal Bend this morning. Most areas have dropped down into the mid to upper 40's. This will give way to mostly sunny skies and mild weather conditions this afternoon. The forecast calls for a daytime high around 74 degrees this afternoon. The winds will be shifting to the southeast this afternoon at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
We are looking for increasing clouds and warmer temperatures for the first half of the workweek. Daytime highs will be around 80 degrees through at least Wednesday. The next strong cold front will be arriving on Thursday. There is a pretty good chance for showers and thunderstorms with the frontal passage. This will lead to mostly sunny and cooler weather Friday and Saturday.
