CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a warm and breezy start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 92 degrees this afternoon with a peak wind gust of 36 miles per hour. We saw a few isolated showers that moved through early this morning in some of our northern counties. A few isolated showers also popped up this afternoon. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. Look for an overnight low around 80 degrees. Similar weather conditions can be expected for Sunday. We will see an afternoon high tomorrow around 93 degrees with the winds blowing out of the southeast at 15 to 20 miles per hour. A few showers will also be possible.
We will see increasing moisture for Monday and Tuesday. This will lead to increasing showers for the first half of the week. The best chance for more widespread showers will be on Tuesday. High pressure will dominate the area for the latter half of the week. This will bring us a bit more sunshine and drier weather. Daytime highs will be in the lower 90’s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 70’s.
