CORPUS CHRISTI – It’s going to be a hot and humid start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. Look for plenty of sunshine with an afternoon high around 94 degrees. The heat index values will be around 100 degrees. Expect light winds out of the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. We can not rule out a stray shower. Tonight the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 76 degrees. The weather conditions will remain pretty much the same for Sunday. Expect a daytime high of 93 degrees tomorrow.
We will see increasing clouds and moisture for the week ahead. This will lead to isolated showers possible on Monday. The storms will become more widespread and scattered midweek. The best chance for showers will be on Tuesday and Wednesday. Some drier air will filter back into the area as we get closer to next weekend. Daytime highs will be around 90 degrees with overnight lows in the upper 70’s.
