First weekend of June will feel like Summer

Posted

Upper level high pressure is building over south Texas and this will result in a better weather pattern for the area compared to the last several weeks. Expect to see less wind and haze with lower lows and slightly hotter daytime highs. Tropical moisture from the Yucatan will slide up the coast and bring scattered showers to the area (and the best rain in over three weeks) the middle of next week.

Saturday and Sunday expect morning clouds to give way to afternoon sunshine not much wind with only a stray shower producing sweltering heat with highs both days of 93 and a heat index of 100 to 104.

Saturday night expect fair skies nearly calm and quiet with a low of 76.
