We continue to have strong surface high pressure in the Gulf and strong low pressure in north Texas and along the Red River Valley. This is producing strong winds here which creates high humidity, oppressive heat index values, above normal temperatures and no rainfall.

Tonight will be cloudy with drizzle or mist breezy and very warm and sticky with a low of 81.

Friday expect lots of clouds still windy hot and humid with a heat index near 105 and a high near 90.

Friday night will continue to be rather breezy sticky and unseasonably warm with a low near 80 under cloudy skies.

Saturday expect it to be not quite as windy but still very humid and hot with considerable cloudiness mixed with some sunshine and a high of 91. The heat index will be between 105 and 109 Saturday afternoon.

Stay cool.
