Corpus Christi – It was a warm and windy start to our weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We made it up to 89 degrees this afternoon with a peak wind gust around 34 miles per hour. A few areas picked up some very brief light rain showers. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 77 degrees. We will see a bit more sunshine and a lot less wind for the end to the weekend. The forecast for tomorrow calls for mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high of 90 degrees.
We are going to remain in a hot and humid weather pattern for much of the week ahead. Out daytime highs will continue around 90 degrees with overnight low in the upper 70’s to low 80’s. There is very little chance for rain during the forecast period.
