CORPUS CHRISTI – We had another band of showers and thunderstorms roll through South Texas overnight. A few lingering storms are still out there this morning. However, the showers will be tapering off this afternoon and should make for some great weather for the Navy Army Night Parade. The forecast for today calls for light winds with a daytime high around 85 degrees. Tonight we can expect partly cloudy skies and mild conditions with an overnight low of 71 degrees. Sunday we can expect mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high of 87 degrees. The winds will shift to the southeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Another Pacific Storm System will likely bring us another round of showers and thunderstorms for the start to the workweek. This means we can expect more wet weather on both Monday and Tuesday. It will remain warm and windy for the latter half of the week. Daytime highs next week will be in the upper 80’s with overnight low temperatures in the 70’s.
