CORPUS CHRISTI – It’s going to be a rather pleasant Easter Sunday here in the Coastal Bend. We will see abundant sunshine along with mild temperatures in the low 80’s again today. However, the main issue is going to be the windy conditions this afternoon. The winds are going to be blowing out of the southeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour. A small craft advisory has been issued through this evening. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures. Look for an overnight low around 68 degrees.
We will see increasing clouds and humidity the next few days. Isolated showers will be possible on Tuesday. There is a much better chance of more widespread showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. A few of these could be strong to severe. A weak front will then push a lot of this moisture out of South Texas. We will then return to sunny and dry conditions for latter half of the week. Daytime highs will continue in the low to mid 80’s.
