A Windy and Mild Monday

Posted
and last updated

CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a very windy Easter Sunday here in the Coastal Bend. Our peak wind gust today was around 40 miles per hour. A small craft advisory has been issued for the evening. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. Look for an overnight low around 68 degrees. Tomorrow we will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds with an afternoon high around 82 degrees. The winds will be blowing from the southeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour.

We will see increasing clouds and moisture midweek. There is a slight chance for a few showers Tuesday. The showers and thunderstorms will become much more widespread on Wednesday. A few of these storms could be strong to severe on Wednesday night. A cold front will then move through pushing a lot of the moisture out of here. This will lead to sunny and dry weather conditions for the remainder of the week. Daytime highs remain in the low to mid 80’s.
