An intense area of low pressure in the northern Plaines states will keep it unseasonably warm and windy tonight before winds gradually decrease due to a weak trailing dry cold front arriving by early afternoon on Thursday. Temperatures will return to seasonally levels Thursday night through Saturday.
Tonight will be windy and warmer with a low of 68 under mainly clear skies.
Thursday will be sunny and dry with decreasing winds throughout the day and still hot with a high near 90.
Thursday night will be mainly clear and a little cooler with a low of 61.
Friday not as hot with more clouds breezy and humid with a high of 81.
