CORPUS CHRISTI – We are looking for a warm start to our Spring Break here in the Coastal Bend. Expect partly sunny skies with a daytime high around 84 degrees this afternoon. The winds will be light out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. A weak front will push through the area this afternoon. This will bring us a little cooler temperatures on Sunday. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with some patchy fog. Look for an overnight low around 64 degrees. We will see a bit more cloud cover tomorrow with an afternoon high around 78 degrees.
The moisture and clouds will continue to increase for much of next week. The next pacific cold front will be in a better location to bring us some showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 70’s for much of the week ahead. However, another strong cold front will bring us some much cooler temperatures late in the week.
Please remember to set your clocks forward an hour tonight for the beginning of Daylight Saving Time.
