A modified arctic air mass continues to sit over south Texas and is bringing the coldest temperatures of the season to the area. As surface high pressure passes to our north skies will briefly partially clear late tonight through Wednesday morning. A freeze warning and wind chill advisory are in effect for the inland areas of South Texas. Corpus Christi is not included. As the arctic high moves east the return flow will increase the wind humidity clouds and temperatures beginning Wednesday afternoon.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy to cloudy breezy and colder with wind chills in the 20’s and an actual low of 33. (note, even colder and below freezing well inland.)

Tuesday will be a little better due to some sunshine not as windy and a little warmer with a high near 50.

Tuesday night will be mainly clear and cold again with a low of 38.

Wednesday expect increasing cloudiness again breezy damp and milder with a high 56.
