CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to another morning with some rather dense fog and mild temperatures. However, the real weather story is the approaching cold front that is going to have some major impacts on our weather the next couple of days. The front will make it’s way through later this morning with strong winds shifting to the north. Temperatures will be falling throughout the afternoon. There is a also a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage.
The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies and much colder conditions. Look for an overnight low around 40 degrees. It will also be a cloudy and damp start to the workweek. Look for an afternoon high on Monday only in the upper 40’s. It will be a few degrees warmer and a bit drier on Tuesday. A gradual warm up is expected for the latter half of the week. Daytime highs will be near 80 degrees on Friday and Saturday. Another cold front will arrive Saturday evening.
