CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to another round of some rather thick fog here in the Coastal Bend. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the area for the next couple of hours. This will give way to a mixture of sunshine and clouds this afternoon with a daytime high around 77 degrees. Expect light winds out of the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies and mild conditions with an overnight low around 63 degrees, Another weak cold front will roll through Sunday morning. There will be a slight chance for a few showers with the frontal passage. It will clear out in the afternoon with a daytime high again in the upper 70’s.
The cooler air will settle in starting Monday. We should still see some Sunshine on President’s Day with an afternoon high in the lower 60’s. However, increasing moisture will give us a pretty decent chance for rain for the remainder of the workweek. Another cold front will usher in even cooler temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday. Daytime highs for much of the week ahead will be in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s.
