We’ve been under the influence of clouds and mild temperatures for a few days now and today was certainly no exception.  Low level moisture riding in off the Gulf and extra support moving in from the Pacific will continue to keep the clouds and above normal temperatures in place for much of the upcoming week.

Dense fog will also be with us the next several mornings too.  The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog and a Marine Dense Fog Advisory for the entire Coastal Bend through at least noon tomorrow, beginning at 9PM tonight.  Motorists are urged to use caution while on the roads and utilize slower speeds and low beam headlight.

For tonight, in addition to the fog, temperatures will be mild as we only fall into the middle 60s with relatively light winds around 5-10 MPH out of the south-southeast.

Monday we’ll have another round of mainly cloudy skies and a few light showers and sprinkles as a weak disturbance moves overhead.  Temperatures will be warm in the mid to upper 70s.  Winds: SSE 7-14 MPH

Tuesday through Thursday will almost be a repeat each day of warm temperatures nearing 80 in the afternoon, humid conditions, a few spots of drizzle, mainly cloudy skies and increasing winds.

Late Thursday and into Friday a cold front will sweep the area and bring in much cooler and drier air.  Though, we will not clear out. Clouds will stay in place due to overrunning and some showers will be possible with frontal passage.

By Saturday morning we’ll be back into the middle 40s!  Enjoy while you can because we’ll recuperate back into the lower 70s by Sunday.
