CORPUS-CHRISTI – We are looking for a cloudy and mild weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We are also waking up to some pretty thick fog. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for this morning. Visibilities are at or near zero in many locations. Use caution when heading out on the roadways this morning. Patchy light rain is also being reported. The forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies with an afternoon high around 72 degrees. Expect light winds from the east. Tonight we will again see mostly cloudy skies with some patchy dense fog. Look for an overnight low around 60 degrees. We will continue with mostly cloudy skies on Sunday with an afternoon high around 77 degrees.
We will remain in a cloudy and warm weather pattern for much of the week ahead. Daytime highs will be in the upper 70’s to near 80 degrees. A few showers will be possible midweek. The next cold front should arrive into South Texas on Friday. This will bring us a chance of more widespread rain with the frontal passage. It will also bring us some cooler temperatures.
