CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a cloudy and wet start to the weekend for many folks here in the Coastal Bend. Temperatures were on the mild side. We saw an afternoon high of 65 degrees. The showers will continue through the overnight hours. We could also see some patchy fog. Look for an overnight low around 48 degrees. A weak front tonight will begin to push a lot of this moisture out of here. This should lead to some afternoon clearing on Sunday with a daytime high around 67 degrees.
It’s going to be sunny and warm on Monday with a daytime high in the lower 70’s. However, a strong arctic front will roll through early Tuesday morning. This will lead windy and much cooler weather for the middle part of the workweek. The daytime highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will only be in the 50’s. We could see some near freezing temperatures early Wednesday morning. A gradual warm up is expected as we get closer to next weekend.
