CORPUS CHRISTI – A cold front rolled through the Coastal Bend this morning. It brought a few light rain showers along with it. The clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon and very windy conditions. A Wind Advisory has been issued through 5 pm. The winds will be blowing out of the northwest at 20 to 25 miles per hour with some gusts near 40 miles per hour. A small craft advisory has also been issued through this evening. The winds will taper off overnight. This will lead to some rather chilly temperatures. The forecast for tonight calls for clear skies with an overnight low around 37 degrees. Look for plenty of sunshine and light winds for Sunday. We will see an afternoon high around 58 degrees on Sunday.
We will see increasing moisture and warmer temperatures starting on Monday. The afternoon high should be near 70 degrees for the holiday with a bit more cloud cover. Temperatures will be in the mid 70’s on Tuesday. Another strong cold front will move through late Tuesday night . This will again bring us some windy and much cooler weather conditions for the latter half of the week.
