Get ready for a wild weather ride as our weather pattern will make a dramatic change this week and as a result send arctic air tumbling into nearly the entire country east of the Rockies. Initially mild Pacific air and Gulf moisture will slowly warm us up through Friday with a little bit of rain. Once the arctic front goes through Saturday temperatures will tumble into the 30’s with only a blustery northerly wind keeping us barely above freezing Sunday and Monday mornings here in Corpus Christi. Another surge of arctic air will arrive the middle to end of next week.

Tonight will be cloudy damp and chilly with a low of 45.

Tuesday will still be chilly with patchy light rain or drizzle developing and a high of only 55.

Tuesday night expect light rain likely not as cold with a low of 54.

Wednesday will also be cloudy but muggy and milder with occasional light rain and a high of 68.

Temperatures will reach into the 70’s on Thursday.
