CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to some pretty chilly temperatures this morning here in the Coastal Bend. Most areas are about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than yesterday at this time. The actual temperatures are in the mid 40’s with the wind chill temps in the upper 30’s. However, it should still be a rather pleasant end to our weekend with plenty of sunshine and an afternoon high around 61 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping into the mid 40 again.
It will be a also be a cloudy and cool start to our workweek. The daytime high will only be around 57 degrees on Monday afternoon. We are also looking for increasing moisture the next few days. This could lead to a few isolated to scattered showers on Tuesday with a few rain showers lingering through Wednesday morning. A gradual warm up is expected for Thursday and Friday. Another cold front will roll in early next weekend.
