Rocky Mountain high pressure will build over south Texas between now and Saturday evening then move slowly east into the western Gulf on Sunday. Return flow with increasing winds and humidity to follow will take place on Sunday so although still nice Saturday will be the best day of the weekend for outdoor plans.
Tonight will be clear and colder with a low of 36 and in the 40’s near the water but near freezing well inland west of 281.
Friday, after a cold start expect sunny skies and warming temperatures with a high near 70 and very light winds and dry air.
Friday night will be tranquil clear and cold with a low of 39.
Saturday will be sensational with sunny skies and light winds all day expect a high of 74.
