CORPUS CHRISTI – It’s going to be a cloudy and very windy afternoon here in the Coastal Bend. We may also see a few showers develop. Look for an afternoon high around 76 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Expect some gusts over 30 miles per hour. A small craft advisory has been issued through at least early Thursday morning. A potent Pacific storm system will be rolling across Texas tonight. This could lead to a few showers and thunderstorms for us overnight. The biggest threat for severe weather will remain to the north of us. However, people traveling should be aware of changing weather conditions.

It should be a pretty nice Thursday after the storms move out. We are looking for a mixture of sunshine and clouds tomorrow with a daytime high in the mid 70’s. Look for the lower 70’s on Friday. A stronger cold front will arrive this weekend. This will bring us cooler and wet weather both Saturday and Sunday. The cold air and rain will likely linger through Monday. We should see improving weather conditions for New Year’s Day.
