CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to some pretty chilly weather this morning here in the Coastal Bend. Most areas are reporting temperatures in the mid 40’s. However, it does look like it is going to be a very pleasant weekend. We will see plenty of sunshine and the winds will finally be winding down. Our forecast for today calls for mostly sunny skies with a daytime high around 66 degrees. The winds will be blowing out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tonight we can expect clear and cold weather conditions. Look for an overnight low around 39 degrees. The forecast for Sunday calls for mostly sunny skies with an afternoon high around 70 degrees.
We will see a gradual warm up for the first half of next week. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70’s. The overnight lows will be in the 40’s and 50’s. There is a slight chance for a few showers Wednesday and Thursday. Another blast of chilly air will arrive on Friday.
