What a difference a day can make!  We went from very nice, cool, sunny and dry conditions to overcast skies, milder temperatures and increasing humidity.

The trend of increasing humidity and warmer temperatures will continue for at least the next 48 hours.

Tonight will be mild and muggy with some patchy dense fog forming tonight and into the early morning hours.  Sea fog will be possible along the coast as well.  This will drop visibility to zero at times, so residents are urged to use caution on the roads and utilize low beams when traveling. Low: 63 Winds: S 5-10 MPH

A weak upper-level disturbance riding over northern Mexico will keep clouds in place tonight and tomorrow and result in some stray showers near the coastline for Thursday afternoon. We’ll look for a high of 78.  Winds: SSE 10-20 MPH

The disturbance over Mexico will exit east into the Gulf waters on Friday and we’ll see some more sun on Friday and that will aid in sending temperatures to the highest values of the next 7-days with a high of 83 in the city.  Inland areas will push the mid to upper 80s. Winds: S 15-20

A weak Pacific front will arrive Saturday by midday and bring slightly drier air and only slightly cooler temperatures.  It will ensure a nice weekend, but highs will be above average in the upper 70s to near 80.

A stronger cold front will arrive Monday around midday as well, this arriving with a few isolated showers with passage.  Behind this front highs will drop back into the 60s and lows in the 40s and 50s.  We don’t completely clear out as some clouds stick around.
