After a chilly night in the area, we warmed up fairly nicely this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 60s over a good part of the Coastal Bend.
Humidity levels are on the rise as high pressure moves to our east and the winds will begin to veer more towards a southerly direction.
Tonight will not be quite as cold and clouds will be on the increase. Look for a low of 52. Winds: SSE 4-8MPH
Tomorrow we trade our mainly sunny skies with mainly cloudy conditions and a few stray sprinkles in the area. Most of the raindrop should remain to our south and just offshore. Highs will reach the middle 70s. Winds: SSE 10-15MPH
Thursday will be fairly similar to Wednesday with a few more pockets of sunshine for the inland areas. Showers will linger near the coast and offshore and highs will bump up even further into the low 80s. Winds: SSE 7-14 MPH
Friday, the winds pick up slightly and we’ll hold on to a mix of clouds and sun with a high of 83.
A dry cold front arrives on Saturday, weak in nature since it is from the Pacific, and it will cool things back down into the upper 70s for much of the weekend under partly cloudy conditions.
Early next week we’ll cloud up again along with an increase winds as the next front arrives Monday, this one a bit stronger. It will come in mainly dry, but eastern parts of the Coastal Bend and closer to the coast could pick up a few isolated showers with passage. Temperatures will tumble from the upper 70s to the upper 50s to low 60s on Tuesday.
