The cold front that arrived yesterday has really delivered us some dynamite weather conditions. It was absolutely stunning outdoors today as high pressure has a hold of our weather pattern, for now, and resulted in lots of sunshine and cool temperatures.
Light winds and mainly clear skies will result in a cold Tuesday morning. Many inland locations will drop into the upper 30s while the coastal locations will stop in the low to mid 40s. Here in Corpus Christi we’ll look for 39 degrees. Even with a little bit of winds, could see wind chills in the mid to lower 30s. Winds: N 5-10MPH
Tuesday will still be very nice, but some high clouds will start to end our time with mainly clear skies. There will still be plenty of sun though with highs similar to today in the middle 60s. Winds: ESE 5-10 MPH
A little upper-level disturbance moves by to our south on Wednesday and that will cloud things up further here to mainly cloudy conditions. Also can’t rule out a passing sprinkle. Temperatures will certainly moderate back into the 70s for highs.
Thursday and Friday we’ll see more sun, but not totally sunny and warmer temperatures with highs back into the 80s.
A weak front arrives early Saturday to cool things down some for the weekend. The front will arrive mainly dry, outside a quick shower along with some wind.
The next big front that will take us back into the 30s and 40s won’t be far away and should arrive by Monday evening. Still a ways out, so we’ll monitor the progress of that one.
