Today was another transition day in the Coastal Bend that featured mild and fairly muggy conditions for the first half through about noon time.  Then just after lunch, a cold front pushed in and ran into to some Gulf moisture and did two things.  The first was drop temperatures from the 70s to the 50s and the second was develop moderate to heavy downpours that delivered 1-2 inches for a few coastal locations.  Out at the airport, we officially received just under an inch of rain.  At the Corpus Christi NAS, over two inches was reported.  Similar spotty values were seen near Calallen and out towards Rockport.

Tonight the rainfall will continue to taper off and only a few spots of light mist and drizzle will stay with us.  Clouds will keep us insulated this evening and trap the cool temperatures on the surface.  Lows will bottom in the upper 40s to low 50s with north winds at 10-15MPH.

Mainly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures will carry on over into Monday.  Raindrops should stay confined to the Gulf waters.  High: 59 Winds: N 10-15MPH

Tuesday will feature a little bit more sunshine, more in northern counties versus our southern counties with milder temps in the low 60s for highs.  Wednesday a weak disturbance to our east will move closer to the coast and increase rain showers a bit, but no weather is forecast at this time.

Thanksgiving Day will be mainly cloudy, cool and dry.  Highs will reach the upper 60s after starting in the low 50s.  Clouds will slowly decrease some as the day progresses, but overall the clouds will hold tough.

Little more sunshine will return along with temperatures in the 70s for Friday and Saturday, but another front looks to push through on Sunday with windy conditions, showers and cooler temperatures.

Have a great week!
